The twentieth century left an enormous heritage of photography, images taken with a vast range of different techniques and equipment. In the Time Travel series, we rummage through the archives of photographers, directors, architects and artists to fish out memorable journeys, explorations into knowledge and long-forgotten reportages from yesteryear. These provide original snapshots of the twentieth century which, viewed through today’s eyes, takes on new values and meanings. A series that has endowed a range of archives with a new lease of life, bringing them into the twenty-first century.
